Let’s play with balls! The possibilities are endless, but one thing is for sure, your child will be up, active and engaged in physical activities as they run, kick or throw the ball.

• If your child hits the ball using a racquet or throws it up in the air and catches it, they will improve their hand-eye and bilateral coordination. These are both essential skills to develop, e.g. writing.
• Your child will learn how to plan different gross motor actions, making it easier for them to repeat these actions in the future, improving these specific gross motor skills and learning how to use their body when performing these skills.
